Wellness Center Rules
Attire: Athletic shoes, t-shirts or exercise tops no higher than 1 inch above waistline and shorts no higher than mid-thigh or warm-ups must be worn in exercise areas (thongs, halter tops, see thru and any other inappropriate apparel is Prohibited).
No cell phone use while on the fitness floor.
No food or drink allowed in the Wellness Center or Aerobic Studio. Water is allowed in plastic container with lid.
Please be considerate and wipe off equipment after use.
Report violations of the rules or damaged equipment to the YMCA staff immediately.
All personal items should be placed in the locker room.
While exercising please do not drop or bang weights and replace when finished.
All personal training sessions must be paid at the Front Desk at the time of scheduling the appointment. Cancellations and/or rescheduled appointments must be done by phone at least 24-hours in advance. Cancellations made later than 24-hours will result in the loss of that session.

YMCA personal trainers are here to service you and help you reach your fitness goals. You can feel confident and safe working with our knowledgeable, certified personal trainers. The YMCA understands that everyone is not at the same fitness level, so we accommodate you at your level of fitness. Whether you are an avid exerciser or a beginner, our trainers can ensure that you are being trained in a safe environment and at a comfortable pace until you are ready to proceed to the next level of fitness without injury.
Nutrition

Nutrition assessments are now available at the Nuber YMCA. Cost is $45 per session and will include the following:
1. Assessment of bodyweight using BMI (body mass index)
2. Evaluation of current daily caloric intake
3. Suggestions on how to eat a healthy, balanced diet and enjoy it!
