Class Descriptions

Beginner Aerobics
Cardio and muscle toning moves for those starting out or who want a less challenging workout. Step Moves, AB work, bar and hand weights used.

Beginner Yoga
Learn all the basic poses in this class. For those just starting out or who want a gentler yoga practice

Body Conditioning
Incorporates strength moves with alternating cardio for a heart pumping workout

Fusion Yoga/Pilates
The best of yoga and pilates combined for a great total body workout

Jazzercise
Very popular class that puts dance moves to music. Good for all fitness levels. Light weight work and abs are included.

Interval Aerobics
A mix of step, spin and floor aerobics with strength training and ABS

Karate
Traditional kyokushinkai karate class. We stay low to the ground and use 50/50 hand and feet.

Great class for beginners! Kata, self-defense and sparring. And it is Free!

Kick It Interval
Incorporates kickboxing intervals with high intensity step. Two intervals of strength training are included

Muscle Works
A great group muscle training class. This class uses a wide range of equipment including weights, bars, bands, tubes and stability ball. Focus is on strengthening and toning the entire body

Senior Strength/Silver Sneakers
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and activity for daily living skills. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

SilverSneakers Cardio Circuit
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

SilverSneakers YogaStretch
YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Step
A heart pumping aerobic class using step combinations with power movements

Step and Strength Training
An aerobics class that offers a great cardio workout using a variety of beginning to intermediate choreography on the step followed by strength training with weights and finishing with abdominal work

Turbo Kickboxing
Great Cardio workout complete with bouts of intense intervals, easy to follow combinations, and kickboxing specific strength/endurance training

Y-Cycle
Come experience this awesome ride. This class simulates a real road bike ride. All experience and fitness levels welcome. This is a great way to add cardio to your workout regime. Bring a water bottle and a small towel, because you will work up a sweat! Registration required (call or visit front desk, AM call day before, PM Call day of after 8:15am)

Yoga
A Vinyasa-style class that combines core strength, flexibility, balance, concentration, breathing & relaxation

Zumba
A fusion of Latin and International music-dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training. It targets areas such as glutes, legs, arms, abs and the most important muscle in the body, the heart.
